Here's some information about our beneficiary for Flea Style! hope that you will pitch in to support this cause :)

Andong Village is a slum village in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, made up of 1000 families.

The entire village occupies only one hectare of land, yet is filled with small shabby huts measuring 4m by 6m (about three stall spaces). The villagers were forced to live in the slum after developers evicted them from their homes in the city.

Funds raised at their charity booth will be used to minister to the people of Andong Village in the areas of education and skills training.

Your participation will go a long way towards enabling families and their children to succeed in life :)

WE HAVE BEEN FEATURED AT THE HOME SECTION ON THE STRAITS TIME, C9! GO TELL PPL ABOUT IT!!!:)

Flea-ker of Hope is an annual joint intitiative between the students of Hwa Chong Institution and Raffles Instutition. This project aims to raise funds in support of the Jamiyah’s Children Home. In partnership with HOME Club, an exciting, enjoyable, extremely extraordinary flea market will be staged on the 9th of May from 12 to 9pm with online stalls selling brand new goodies, pre-loved freebies and even food and drinks! This event will also be spiced up by musical performances by bands and vocalists so don't forget to head on down and show your support for this amazing good cause while picking up some GREAT and AWESOME bargains along the way!

For those who would like to set up a stall at this event for a fee of $45, all of which would go to our beneficiary, please refer to the information below and get back to us asap at fleakerofhope@gmail.com!

If you have confirmed your stall with us, please transfer $45 to POSB SAVINGS 193-31719-7 :)

Early bird special!

Stalls which are confirmed before the 11^th of April would get a further discount of $3 of their initial fee!!

Stall Essentials

• Setup begins at 11am, come EARLIEST 1030am.

• The Flea Market begins at 12pm and will last till 9pm.

  • If you will be arriving late/leaving early, please inform us beforehand.

• Stalls can be setup inside or outside the Home Club.

  • Early Birds gets to choose their location first!

• Each stall will be given 1.5m x 1.5m of space marked out before arrival.

  • Please let us know if you need more than one stall space.

• Only ONE table and ONE chair will be provided by the Home Club.

NOTE: It’s The Riverwalk NOT Riverwalk apartments.

• Parking is behind at Riverwalk apartments.

• Tables and chairs will be provided. Clothes rack and Hangars will not be provided.

• In case of rain, all stalls will be indoors.

How To Get Here

• Home Club is at 20 Upper Circular Road, B1-01/06, The Riverwalk.

• Nearest MRT: Clarke Quay and Raffles Place

• From Clarke Quay MRT: Exit gantry, turn left. Go up to street level.
  Go to Underpass behind Cheers. The Riverwalk is at the other end of the underpass.
  Walk through the underpass, after which, Jumbo Restaurant should be on your right.
  Continue walking straight along the river, Home Club will be on your right.

• From Raffles Place MRT: Exit gantry turn right. Exit for UOB Plaza.
  Walk along the rivers of Boat Quay, where the pub "Penny Black" is.
  Go towards the underpass where Coffee Bean is.
  Pass through the underpass and it is Home Club on your left.

When You’ve Arrived,

• Come by 1100 sharp.

• Look for Joseph at the registration area just outside the club entrance and he’ll take down your details.

• He’ll then let you select your spot and you can proceed to set up.

  • Stall space will be given out on a first come first serve basis!

• Do let us know if you will need the tables and chairs.

• Do let us know if you’ve bought more than one stall space.

• IMPT: Please arrive ON TIME, but not EARLIER than 1030!

• And yes, there are good spots for everyone 

First Timers!

• DO bring your own stuff to setup(hangars, tablecloth, groundsheet) as we will be providing ONE table and ONE chair only.

• DO group your items based on their price to save on tagging them and to help with memory! One easy way to remember the price is to put all the items with the same price in one box/bag and let the shoppers look through it themselves

• DO be polite and courteous to each other, if there are any issues with space allocation or sharing come to us and we will help you resolve them 

• Do enjoy yourselves and have a good time!
